With over 30 years of individual experience in the human health care industry, they bring a scientifically-sound and fact-based approach to everything they do for dogs. We are a resource that you can trust to respect and care for your pet, with extensive training from leading organizations from a variety of leading organizations to ensure the highest quality of services:

Brings a lifelong passion for dogs and a commitment to their health that is combined with an exceptional level of scientific, medical, and technical understanding. She currently shares her life with four playful Schipperkes.

Karen Garza, B.Sc., CTMT, CSMT

Brings a dedication to expanding the care options available to the canine community, along with a deep appreciation for the benefits gained from a variety of healing therapies. She currently shares her life with two entertaining Whippets.



  1. Certified as canine massage therapists by the Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage (a nationally-recognized program for animal bodywork methods that is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of practice in the country); approved and regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Division of Private Occupational Schools; approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider # 451073-09; all faculty are required to be licensed and credentialed by the state of Colorado as teaching professionals.
  1. Certified as pet first aid & CPR instructors by Pet Tech®, Inc. (the first national training center dedicated to pet CPR, first aid, safety & care). The goal of these classes is to teach pet parents the critical skills to provide immediate assistance for their own pets in an accident emergency until veterinary care can be obtained - in alignment with Kirk and Bistner’s Handbook of Veterinary Procedures and Emergency Treatment.
  2. Practitioners of Healing Touch for Animals® - using scientifically recognized techniques based on holistic traditions in collaboration with conventional medical treatment to optimize health.

Karen Y. received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California in San Diego and her Ph.D. In Molecular Biology from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Karen G. received her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and is in the process of completing the coursework to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.
